eCloudvalley Group (6689)'s subsidiary Dynacloud has partnered with Ally Transport to build an "AI Warehouse Management Assistant" on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). By integrating existing CCTV footage, Warehouse Management System (WMS) data, and IoT devices with Ally Transport's self-developed Orbit system, they have created a comprehensive assistant that transforms traditional warehouse monitoring and management.
The biggest feature of the "AI Warehouse Management Assistant" is its ability to use existing warehouse equipment effectively, achieving AI management at a low cost without needing large investments. The system turns scattered information into easy-to-understand responses sent directly via Line messages. This allows managers to track the warehouse status anytime, including order volume, picking complexity, picking status, staff activity (such as anomalies where multiple pickers gather in one area), machine efficiency, and precise timings for various actions.
The AI assistant not only provides clear reports via Line but also analyzes historical data to predict potential issues. For example, it tracks key timings like "Yangmei F Warehouse shipped 6,075 boxes yesterday, wave processing started at 14:29, replenishment started at 15:00," and labor usage like "16 pickers used 72 man-hours, 10 stockers used 15 man-hours." The system analyzes cost-efficiency, offering advice such as "Replenishment and picking costs are normal today, but inventory adjustments took 2 extra man-hours; check if storage slots need organizing." It can also suggest actions based on order volume, like "Orders will increase by 30% tomorrow, start picking 1 hour early or add 3 staff," helping managers make accurate decisions. By identifying bottlenecks, it improves overall shipping efficiency by more than 30%.
Ally Transport CTO King Wang said: "The AI Warehouse Management Assistant adds more value to existing equipment and integrates seamlessly with our Orbit system. Managers can interact with the AI assistant using Line to track operations in real-time, greatly reducing manual monitoring costs. The system suggests labor allocation based on data and even alerts when staff crowd in one area, ensuring resources are used best. This provides a one-stop smart logistics solution for B2B and B2C clients.
Dynacloud COO Bob Guo said: "Ally Transport is a pioneer in logistics technology with innovative ideas, and we provide the AI, data analysis, and cloud technology. Ally Logistic built the base system, and we integrated AI capabilities using GCP, allowing traditional warehouses to upgrade smartly at a low cost. The unique part of the AI assistant is that it doesn't just answer questions; it actively spots anomalies, analyzes reasons for high labor use, and predicts future needs. It turns complex data into simple conversation on Line, helping managers control everything easily and make efficient decisions."
This collaboration brings AI closer to warehouse management, allowing more traditional warehouses to adopt AI at a low cost. It goes beyond just answering queries to actively predicting needs, significantly improving operational efficiency and service quality.
